Originally from Western Australia, Sarah has been working as a handweaver in Edinburgh, Scotland since 2021. She primarily weaves with natural fibres such as wool, silk, cotton and linen. Her yarns are often sourced from industry waste preventing these precious textile materials from ending up in landfill.

Sarah’s handwoven designs have been exhibited throughout the UK and Europe in group exhibitions. Her upcoming project will feature at multiple exhibitions in Scotland in 2026.

Through her workshop series ‘Weaving with Kompany’ Sarah shares her passion for weaving on the rigid heddle loom.
