When: Saturday October 17th 2026 10:00-16:00 &
Saturday November 7th 2026 11-13:00
Where: Coburg Art House Studios, Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland
In this workshop you will:
Choose a warp pattern
Select yarn colour scheme
Warp up your loom
Start weaving
learn hemming stitch to start your work
how to get an even beat
At the end of the workshop, you get to take your loom home and finish weaving at your own pace.
3 weeks later we will meet again at the studio to take the scarf off the loom. *
The workshop contains a maximum of four students.
All materials and equipment are provided.
Tea and coffee available too!
We will take a 45-minute break for lunch. Please note lunch is NOT provided. However, there is a fridge and microwave on site and many great cafes in the area.
We weave on Kromsky Harp rigid heddle looms. It comes with a carry bag for you to take it home with along with any shuttles you need to a maximum of 3 shuttles per project.
*If you can’t take your loom home to finish your weaving the pattern and colours will need to be chosen ahead of the workshop and I will set up the loom for you. All you need to do on the day is weave.
